Explore the world of Harry Benson: Kings & Queens, an exhibition of celebrity portraits by photographer Harry Benson and create your own self-portrait collage with artist Deborah Douglas. Bring a black and white photo copy of yourself, select an iconic image, and create a collage where you share the space with your favorite celebrities.
Deborah Douglas is a mixed media artist living in Saint Louis, Missouri. In 2017 she was part of an invitational exhibition, Imagery of Chess: Saint Louis Artists, at the World Chess Hall of Fame and had a solo exhibition at the Schmidt Art Center in Belleville, Illinois. In 2018, she has a solo exhibition at The Sheldon Art Galleries in Saint Louis. Additionally, she has exhibited work in Dallas, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Madrid, Spain. She holds an MFA in painting and printmaking from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and is currently an Associate Professor of Art and Art History at Saint Louis University.
